Shoposkop

Project: 

On behalf of shopping.com – a subsidiary enterprise of eBay – we designed a psychological online test that helps consumers find suitable products for themselves and gifts for others.

Objective: 

What is the perfect present for that special person? Which product might satisfy my idiosyncratic desires as a consumer? Sometimes we are just overwhelmed by the abundance. To ease consumers' choices, we designed a psychological testing tool called Shoposkop, which enables consumers to match a certain personality with just the right gift. After answering a set of questions the consumer not only receives a thorough description of his or her shopping personality but is also supplied with suitable product suggestions. The test is based on the Rated Tagging Method, which was developed specifically for this purpose.

Contribution: 

We executed the conceptual and graphic development of the test as well as the programming.
